Concord Police Arrest Man in North State Street Burglary, Assault Case

David Mandigo, 42, of Concord, charged, held without bail.

The Concord Police Department has arrested a Concord man in connection with an early morning burglary and possible assault case on North State Street early this morning.

At around 3 p.m. on May 10, David Mandigo, 42, of Concord, was arrested and charged with burglary and felonious sexual assault, both felonies.

In a statement, Lt. Timothy O’Malley, the commander of the criminal investigations unit, said that detectives arrested him at his home after investigating the case all day. The New Hampshire State Police laboratory also assisted the investigation, examining “a critical piece of evidence (recovered) at the scene.”

Mandigo will be arraigned on May 13.

According to published reports, Mandigo has a long arrest history.

In August 2012, he was charged with three counts of attempted violation of privacy and a default or breach of bail conditions charge. He was arrested at 3:30 p.m. at Marshalls on Storrs Street. Police seized a Verizon cell phone as evidence in the case. He was also arrested on prowling and criminal trespassing in June 2012 on Clarke Street, and a violation of privacy charge in June 2008, allegedly using a cellphone to take a picture under a woman’s dress at Target.

In 2005, Mandigo was spotted looking into a changing area in the junior’s section of Kohl’s in Hooksett. In 2004, he was arrested for stalking, prowling, and theft from a motor vehicle against a Concord woman he knew.

Mandigo also pled guilty to indecent exposure and criminal mischief in 2000 at the Filene’s in Salem. He was also convicted of prowling in 1994 in Goffstown District Court.
