Concord Police Investigate Fatal Gunshot Wound On Washington Street

Concord fire and rescue teams, as well as police, were sent to a home near White Park on Thursday for a possible fatal gunshot wound report.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police are investigating a possible fatal gunshot wound on Washington Street on Thursday.

Just past noon, Capital Region Fire Dispatch received a call about a report of a cardiac arrest incident on Washington Street between White and Centre streets. A minute later, dispatch told EMTs and firefighters to stage because the victim may have had a gunshot wound.

Firefighters staged and reported to police a gun was found near the victim.

Police arrived and requested more officers to investigate the situation. The victim was confirmed code gray around 12:30 p.m., and firefighters returned to service shortly after.
