Concord Police Investigate Road Rage Incident, Crash
A witness reported 2 men arguing at a gas station, while another witness sent police to the Heights for a crash report on Christian Avenue.
CONCORD, NH — Concord police had their hands full on Sunday night first, with a road rage incident and then a crash on the Heights.
Just past 9:30 p.m., police were sent to the Speedway gas station on Hall Street for a road rage incident. A witness said two men were arguing, and it appeared as if one vehicle attempted to drive into another. The vehicles were a car and a pickup truck.
Officers ran the plates of both vehicles and cleared the scene after questioning both men.

About 15 minutes later, dispatch sent officers to a report of a crash on Christian Avenue where a Volvo SUV crashed into a parked car.
A witness told dispatch the Volvo was “totaled,” but the driver attempted to leave the scene. The vehicle, however, could not leave due to the damage, the witness said.

The witness also claimed seeing something thrown from the vehicle into a snowbank. The SUV had crashed into a Kia Soul that was parked.
Police ran the plates of four vehicles and found issues with two where the registrations did not match the vehicles. VINs were checked and rechecked.
The driver of the Volvo was given field sobriety tests and was arrested later.
