Concord Police Investigating Death Of A Woman At Royal Gardens Apartment Complex

Despite efforts by EMTs to revive her, a woman died on Wednesday afternoon. Concord police have been at the scene for the past 21 hours.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police are investigating the death of a woman at the Royal Gardens apartment complex on Wednesday afternoon.

Limited information is available about the incident.

Concord fire and rescue teams were sent to an apartment in Building 8 at the Royal Gardens apartment complex for a report of a cardiac arrest at a little past 3 p.m., according to scanner chatter. EMTs confirmed the woman was in distress and began performing CPR. About 10 minutes later, firefighters called police and asked them to respond to the scene.

Just after 3:30 p.m., the battalion commander told fire dispatch the woman had died.

Just before 5:15 p.m., the watch commander told officers at the scene that the county attorney’s office would not send a representative to the call, but the medical examiner was on their way.

Officers were still at the scene on Thursday morning.

The woman was in her late-30s, according to Interim Police Chief Barrett Moulton. He said an autopsy was performed on Thursday morning and investigators were expecting an update later today.
