Fort Eddy Road Facebook Marketplace Meetup Goes Bad; Concord Cops Investigating Gun Threat
Cops are investigating a report of a gun threat after a Facebook Marketplace cellphone sale meetup sours Monday afternoon outside Petco.
CONCORD, NH — Concord police are investigating a possible gun threat incident on Fort Eddy Road on Monday afternoon.
Around 12:15 p.m., police dispatch received a report from a caller about an incident outside the Hannaford supermarket involving a Facebook Marketplace sale gone bad and one party pointing a gun at another. The suspect fled the scene in a white Honda with a Massachusetts registration. The victim purchased a cellphone from another person but requested their money back. After doing so, the suspect pointed the gun at him, dispatch said.
The victim was inside a red SUV with a Maine registration. The dispatcher said there were language barrier issues, but the victim took down the suspect’s license plate registration and gave it to 911. They also stated they believed the driver of the Honda drove south, toward Exit 14, after leaving the parking lot.

The dispatcher told officers the victim mentioned something about Petco, too, according to scanner chatter.
