Concord Police Investigating Stabbing On Branch Turnpike
A man was stabbed at the Edgewood Heights apartment complex Friday by an unknown assailant. The victim is in stable condition.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police were called to the Edgewood Heights apartment complex for a report of a stabbing Friday. The incident was reported around 10 p.m. by a woman who stated her neighbor, a man, had been stabbed. Concord firefighters staged near the building for the police waiting for the all-clear.
The first arriving officers were able to make contact with the victim, who was conscious, with a neighbor holding pressure to the wound, one officer told dispatch. The victim offered limited information to police but said the incident occured behind the apartment building along the tree line, according to scanner chatter.
Firefighters then came into the building to treat the victim while officers attempted to secure potential crime scenes including the area behind the building, around an SUV in the parking lot, and two apartments.
