Concord Police Investigating Stolen, Multi-Vehicle Crash
UPDATE: Police are hunting for a man who reportedly fled a crash scene possibly in a stolen vehicle in the eastern part of the city.
CONCORD, NH — Concord Police cleared a multi-vehicle crash scene at the intersection of East Side Drive and Shawmut Street, and Mountain Road in Concord this afternoon and are reportedly searching for a possible stolen car suspect. The crash reportedly occurred a little before for 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 6, 2016, between a Mercury Mountaineer and a Honda sedan. One of the vehicles was stolen out of Chichester, according to scanner chatter.
Concord Fire and Rescue as well as Loudon EMTs transported at least two people from the scene with injuries.
Officers have been searching for a suspect – a man, dark hair, in his 30s, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall – on Manchester Street, Garvins Falls Road, the South End, and Pleasant Street, while other officers questioned injured parties at Concord Hospital. The man has an active warrant, according to a BOLO issued by dispatch. Police were attempting to ping the man's cellphone to track down his location.

Officers on the northern side of Shawmut Street were analyzing tracks in the snow while waiting for tow trucks to arrive to move the vehicles. Two New Hampshire State Police troopers were also seen at the crash scene.
The Mountaineer is being towed to Chichester where a search warrant is being requested for the vehicle, according to dispatch.
