Police Investigating An Untimely Death At Apartment Complex On The Concord Heights
A man was found dead of a gunshot wound inside an apartment at Prescott Place on Prescott Street on Wednesday afternoon.
CONCORD, NH — Concord police are investigating an untimely death, possibly a self-inflicted gunshot wound, at the Prescott Place apartment complex.
Police, fire, and rescue teams were sent to Prescott Street after a caller reported finding a man dead inside an apartment around 12:30 p.m. A gun was found near the body of the man, according to scanner chatter. No one else was reportedly in the apartment, according to dispatch.
An officer entered the apartment while firefighters staged and confirmed the scene was secure.

At just after 12:45 p.m., Concord firefighters entered the apartment and confirmed the man was code gray.
Officers set up yellow tape around the entrance to the building and are still at the scene. They are expected to be there for some time.
