O’Malley confirmed scanner chatter last night that police were sent to the school after a parent went to pick up the Merrimack Valley High School student and was unable to find her. There were reports that she was with another student at a high school dinner. A note circulated with George’s picture claimed “she was last seen yesterday evening, getting into a silver van with a woman who offered her a ride home.”
O’Malley, however, would not confirm that information.

“Right now, we’re trying to sort through what happened,” he said. “We have nothing official about an abduction. If anyone has that information at this time, that she’s been abducted, we would like them to call us.”
Right now, other details about the case are limited. O’Malley said the department would be updating the media about the case soon.
“We are always concerned any time a 13-year-old is reported missing,” he added. “Especially if someone is harboring a juvenile … we’re taking this very seriously.”
Anyone with information is urged to call the Concord Regional Crimeline at 603-226-3100.
