Concord Police: Secure Motorcycles To Keep Them From Being Stolen

Concord Regional Crimeline alert: The capital city has seen a rash of motorcycle thefts in May 2023.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police are warning motorcyclists around the region that there has been a rash of thefts during the month of May.

Police said between May 14 and May 26, six motorcycles were stolen.

“Many of the thefts have occurred in business and residential apartment complex parking lots,” Det. Sgt. Thomas Yerkes of the Concord Police Department said.

In a Concord Regional Crimeline alert, the department said motorcycle owners should, if possible, secure them indoors. If secure storage is unavailable, “motorcycle owners should seek other means to prevent the motorcycle from being moved from its location,” Yerkes said.

One Patch reader noted her Honda CBR 600 RR was stolen between Mother’s Day and May 16, from an apartment complex near Fisherville Road.
