The Concord Regional Crimeline has issued an alert asking for help from the public concerning a recent car theft incident in the South End.
At around 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 29, 2015, police responded to South Street (across from Rundlett Middle School) for a report of a theft from a vehicle.
The victim reported that during the past year, his family has had problems with people vandalizing their home. As a result, he installed a video camera in a tree to see if he could catch the person(s) responsible. He said that a review of the video footage revealed that at approximately 5:10 a.m. on Nov. 29, a subject came into the driveway and opened the passenger side door of a vehicle.

“The subject was in the vehicle for less than a minute and then left,” according to Lt. Timothy O’Malley, the commander for the criminal investigations unit. “The victim stated that the only thing missing from the vehicle was a small amount of cash.”
The subject in the video appears to be a thin, white male. He is wearing a camouflage jacket, light colored winter beanie, light colored jeans, and sneakers. Concord officers have responded to numerous incidents involving theft from motor vehicles during the past year.
