Concord Police Seek Info on Santa Slasher
Vandal cuts inflatable decoration on Ridge Road.
The Concord Regional Crimeline is looking for information about a criminal mischief incident late last month on Ridge Road in Concord.
According to an alert, a man was caught on camera slicing an inflatable Christmas decoration on the property during the early morning hours of Dec. 27, 2014.
The incident was captured on video, according to Lt. Timothy O’Malley, the commander of the criminal investigations division of the department, due to a previous criminal incident at the home.

“The victim said that he had installed the camera because the same thing happened the year before,” O’Malley stated. “In this instance, the slash was over a foot in length and cut across the Santa’s body.”
The man is captured on the video using a cutting instrument to slash the decoration. He then walks off.

The man was described as white and carrying a backpack. He was also wearing a miner or bicyclist headlamp on his forehead.
