Concord Police Seek Tips After Gas Station Robbery: Crimeline Alert
Follow-Up: Cops are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect involved in an incident at the Gully Hill Shell gas station Tuesday.

CONCORD, NH — The Concord Regional Crimeline has issued an alert asking for the public’s help identifying the suspect of a robbery and attempted kidnapping at the Gully Hill Shell gas station on Tuesday morning.
Around 2:30 a.m., police were sent to the gas station on Loudon Road to investigate a robbery. A clerk at the store, who had been handcuffed, was able to get the attention of an officer and asked for assistance. The suspect fled the area on foot.

The suspect entered the store, spoke to the clerk, and escorted the employee outside and placed a pillowcase over their face, Det. Sgt. Thomas Yerkes of the Concord Police Department said. The employee was cuffed and placed in the passenger seat of the suspect’s car.

“The suspect re-entered the store where he began to fill pillowcases with merchandise,” Yerkes said. “The clerk was able to escape the area where he contacted a police officer. The suspect fled the area prior to officers’ arrival at the store.”
The suspect was described as a white man, about 6 feet tall, with a medium build. He was dressed entirely in black, wearing a Carhartt-style jacket and a mask. The suspect also had a backpack, which was described as green and black with drawstrings.

“There is no threat to the general public,” Yerkes said.
Police are seeking tips — specifically, anyone who may have been driving in the area of the store, Loudon Road, or the Everett Arena around 2:30 a.m. or anyone who may know anything about the incident.
