Concord Regional Technical Center Opening Day

More than 680 students from nine regional school districts begin Career Pathway programs designed to give them a jumpstart on their futures

Concord, NH - More than 680 students from nine regional high schools started classes in the Concord Regional Technical Center on Thursday. Students from as far away as Kearsarge Regional High School apply to the CRTC to engage in one of 11 career pathway programs designed to help students to explore their interests, talents and ambitions in a dynamic and interactive setting.

The CRTC is part of the Concord High School and serves sophomores, juniors and seniors interested in gaining a career-focused education that offers them college credits, industry certifications and work-based learning opportunities strategically packaged to prepare students for college and career placement after high school graduation.

"These students will face some big life decisions in their senior year, and our job is to prepare them with career-focused education and experiences so that they will stand out to employers and college recruiters when they graduate high school," CRTC Principal Steve Rothenberg said.
