Concord Residents Can Now Register Cars Online

City moves to new e-reg system today.

Residents here in the city of Concord will now be able to register their cars online.

Starting today, the city’s website will now accept car registrations after new “e-reg” from Interware Development Company of Mount Vernon launched. The process allows residents to pay for car registration from their homes, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

To register online, residents will need their current registration and either a credit card or check.

The online access though will cost more than physically going down to city hall to pay for the registration, according to city of Concord tax office. When using a credit card online, a processing fee of $1.50 per vehicle, as well as a 2.95 percent convenience fee (a $1.50 minimum) will be charged along with the registration cost. If car owners use an e-check, there is a processing fee of $1.50 and a convenience fee of $1.50.

To access online registration, residents can visit the newly revamped city website at concordnh.gov/ereg, and follow the filing instructions.
