Police reported that a Subaru Outback, being driven by a Concord man, had stopped in the road facing southbound after seeing two moose in the road. Another vehicle, a Hyundai Accent, being driven northbound by a Penacook woman, allegedly struck one of the moose sending it into the Subaru.

“Because of it’s serious and incapacitating injuries, the moose had to be put down,” according to police.
