Concord School Bus, Crossover Involved In Head-On Crash: Watch
Concord police, fire and rescue teams were sent to Horse Hill Road near Runnells Road after a Subaru crashed head-on into a bus on Thursday.
CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to the northwest area of the city Thursday for a head-on crash between a school bus and a crossover vehicle.
Around 3:45 p.m., police and capital region fire dispatch began receiving 911 calls about a crash with possible injuries on Horse Hill Road near Runnells Road. They later learned that a Subaru had crashed into an SAU 8 Concord School District bus.
The crossover had airbag deployment while there were students on the bus.

After checking out the crash scene and speaking with the bus driver, children on the bus, and the driver of the Subaru, the first arriving firefighters called off others who were heading to the area.
All the patients refused transportation, but firefighters and EMTs stayed on until parents could arrive to pick up their children.

Police dispatch called a tow truck to remove the Subaru.
The cause of the crash was unknown at post time, it appeared the Subaru traveled into the opposite lane.
