The filing period for candidates for the Concord School District Board of Education will open on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. and will close at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2019.
Three members of the Board of Education for the Concord School District will be elected, one each from District A (Wards 1, 2, 3, 4), District B (Wards 5, 6, 7) and District C (Wards 8, 9, 10).
The election will be held on November 5, 2019 and each elected member will serve a three (3) year term, beginning January 1, 2020.
The filing fee for candidacy is five dollars ($5.00).
The terms of Jim Richards (District A), Nancy Kane (District B) and Pam Wicks (District C) are ending December 31, 2019.
Individuals wishing to declare candidacy for the Board of Education should file within the filing period with Roger B. Phillips, Esquire, Clerk, at Phillips Law Office, PLLC, 104 Pleasant Street, Concord, New Hampshire 03301, whose telephone number is 225-2767.
There will be a School Board Candidates Information Session on Wednesday, September 11th from 7:00 pm– 8:00 pm. at the Central Office Board Room, 38 Liberty Street.
