The Boy Scouts of Troop 86 and Cub Scouts of Pack 86 (both chartered by the Wesley Methodist Church) collected, donated and purchased items to build these kits. The kits contained insect repellant, sunscreen, cleaning wipes, deodorant, and lip balm.

The scouts were able to amass enough items for 50 kits which totals approx $400 worth of supplies. The money for the purchased items came from a generous donation from the Concord Rotary Club.

About a quarter of the kits were handed out today, the rest were left with Rise Again Outreach for future distribution to the homeless that need these items.
