Michael Meucci, Keith Babcock were both held on cash bail.

Two New Hampshire men were arrested yesterday in Littleton, MA, while in the process of allegedly breaking into a home in that community.
Michael Meucci, 32, of Concord, and Keith Babcock, 32, of Seabrook, were arrested and charged on April 3, 2015.
According to a press statement, an alert neighbor in the Manion Place neighborhood noticed two men breaking in and entering the residence at just before 3 p.m.

The neighbor called police, they responded within minutes, and ran into the two men while in the process of burglarizing the home. Meucci was allegedly attempting to run out of the front door and was quickly taken into custody. Babcock allegedly tried to flee out the back door and get into a motor vehicle but a sergeant and officer were waiting for him on the other side and captured him.
The two men had reportedly removed a safe and several other items from the home, which they had piled up by the rear door, according to a press statement.

“This is a fantastic example of community policing at its best. An alert neighbor had presence of mind to call the police immediately, and our officers responded in great numbers to catch two alleged felons before they could get away,” Littleton Chief Matthew King said. “I am extremely proud of our community members and our officers for handling themselves so well during a stressful and dangerous situation.”
Both men were held on cash bail and will be arraigned in Ayer District Court on Monday.
According to online reports, Meucci has been arrested a number of times during the past few years. He was arrested in Tewksbury, MA, in 2011, after allegedly breaking into a house there. A few months before, he allegedly was involved in robbing a home in Hampstead and allegedly stealing guns. At the time, he was living in Salem, and was indicted on a burglary charge in Hampstead from November 2010. In April 2014, he was arrested in Salem after allegedly being involved with another man in a safe burglary incident. Meucci was arrested in February for failing to appear on a burglary charge.
Babcock also has a number of arrests under his belt including reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon and disobeying an officer, along with burglary and criminal mischief. In 2008, he was arrested in Danville on a burglary charge. In 2013, in Seabrook, he was arrested for simple assault on Liberty Lane.
