Visit the final Winter Farmers’ Market of the season at Cole Gardens on Saturday April 12th, 10am to 2pm and not only will you find locally grown farm-fresh products, you might also meet your new best friend. The Pope Memorial SCPA of Concord-Merrimack County (formerly the Concord-Merrimack County SPCA) will be on site with adoptable pets to meet, cuddle, and even perhaps adopt into your family. No adoptions will be done on site, but applications for adoption will be available.
Mrs. Beasley’s pet treats is the showcase vendor of the day. 10% of the proceeds from sales of Give a Dog a Home peanut butter/oatmeal/carob treats go to the SPCA.
Bring along a donation of pet food, toys, cleaning supplies, or anything from the SPCA wish list (available at concordspca.org) and receive a discount on plant purchases that day at Cole Gardens and an entry in a raffle for a basket from the Winter Farmer’s Market.
