Concord Man Stabbed Bar Patron After Accosting Woman: Police

Concord police said Kyle Anderson accosted a woman at The Draft bar then stabbed a man who intervened.

CONCORD, NH -- A Concord man was arrested Wednesday after police said he stabbed a man multiple times at The Draft bar. Kyle Anderson (pictured), 35, faces a host of charges. The victim was seriously injured, police said.

The stabbing happened October 20 at about 12:30 a.m., according to Concord Police Lt. Sean Ford.

"Mr. Anderson who appeared to be under the influence, approached two other males not known to him, and grabbed one of the males by the groin," Ford said in statement. "He then displayed a knife and held it against the neck of another random male patron. Minutes later Mr. Anderson made his way to another unsuspecting group of patrons. He also made a comment at a female and had physical contact with her. He then physically confronted a friend of the female and a fight ensued. After disengaging from the fight Anderson and the male had words and while in close proximity Anderson pulled out a knife and stabbed the male victim numerous times in the torso."

The stabbing victim was transported to Concord Hospital then medflighted to a Boston-area hospital due to the severity of his injuries. Ford said officers identified Anderson based on security camera footage and witness statements.

Anderson was charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of reckless conduct and assault. He was held in custody pending an arraignment November 1 in Merrimack Superior Court.
