Concord Teen Arrested After Car Chase, Crash

New Hampshire State Police bust Nikolas Carr in Hopkinton.

A local teen is in trouble again with the law after allegedly sending police on a chase through a number of towns early this morning.

Nikolas Carr, 19, of Concord, was arrested on Aug. 15, and charged with operation after suspension, reckless operation, disobeying an officer, and resisting arrest.

According to the New Hampshire State Police, at around 2:15 a.m., a trooper caught up with Carr’s 2000 Honda Civic on Pine Street in Hopkinton after hearing reports that the driver had allegedly eluded officers from Hillsborough and Deering.

Carr, the driver, was wanted by police on warrants for violation of a protective order and criminal threatening, according to the report.

Carr allegedly crashed into a building on Route 103 in Hopkinton and fled the scene. He was apprehended after a brief foot chase, according to police.

Carr is being held on cash bail.

In September 2013, according to the Hillsboro Police, he was arrested on a criminal threatening charge.

About a month later, he was arrested in Concord on charged with criminal threatening and theft by extortion charges after a fight with his girlfriend about a car and her new boyfriend at Target, according to a post on Concord NHPatch.
