Concord Teen 'Late for Class' Clocked at 100+ MPH, Arrested
Nicholas Tobin was arrested Tuesday morning and charged with reckless driving.

A Concord teenager was arrested Tuesday morning after police said he was drove 101 mph on Interstate 93.
Nicholas Tobin told police he was speeding because he was “late for class.” He was charged with reckless driving and is due in court Jan. 18.

State Police said Trooper Christopher Elphick was driving on I-93 south near Exit 16 when he saw Tobin in a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado pickup fly past him in the high-speed lane. Elphick clocked Tobin at 101 mph and pulled him over near Exit 15.
