Concord Water Consumers Advised to Conserve

As drought conditions worsen, residents are encouraged to use water wisely.

Drought conditions continue to develop in New Hampshire, now including the southeastern part of the state. Concord’s water supply is sufficient to meet current demands and an emergency supply is available if necessary. Even with some recent rain, the state is experiencing abnormally dry conditions.

Concord water consumers should still use water wisely during this period. Visit www.concordnh.gov/conservation for water conservation tips that can help reduce water consumption. Current lower water production levels from the City of Concord's Water Treatment Plant suggest that Concord residents have decreased their water use in response to the recent drought.

Concord General Services appreciates all efforts to continue to use water wisely to preserve the community’s water resource.
