KEENE, NH — Hundreds of wrestlers from dozens of schools in five states competed in the 2024 Annual Minickiello Wrestling Tournament on Saturday in Keene.
This year, girls could compete in matches with other girls (women’s division) or in co-ed bouts. Matches were also held on six mats instead of four in an effort to end the tourney earlier. Wrestlers from New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Maine competed in hundreds of bouts.
Concord came away victorious, besting Keene, the hosts of the tourney, by 16 points. Last year, Keene won the tournament, while Concord placed second, Bow came in fifth, and Amherst was tied for sixth.
