Contoocook Woman Arrested on OUI, Drug Charges After Queen City Crash
Police: Paige Kerr's passenger was overdosing while she allegedly made an illegal left hand turn, smashed into another vehicle on Saturday.

MANCHESTER, NH — A local woman was arrested last weekend and arraigned in court today for allegedly driving while on drugs after a crash in Manchester, according to police. Paige Kerr, 26, of Pleasant Pond Road in Contoocook, was arrested on Sept. 3, 2016, and charged with operating under the influence of drugs, two counts of reckless conduct, and possession of a controlled drug.

An officer working at a New Hampshire Highway Safety DWI enforcement was called at just before 11 p.m. to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Mammoth Road and Bridge Street in Manchester, according to a report. When the officer arrived at the scene and investigated the incident, they alleged that Kerr, who was traveling north on Mammoth Road, made an illegal left hand turn onto Bridge Street from the center lane and crashed into a second vehicle that was attempting a left turn. A passenger in the second vehicle was injured in the crash and transported to Eliot Hospital.

“While police and EMS were on scene, Kerr’s 32-year-old female passenger was found unconscious/unresponsive suffering from an apparent opiate overdose,” according to Sgt. Michael Biron of the Manchester Police Department. “EMS revived the passenger through the administration of Narcan and she was transported to the Elliot Hospital for further evaluation.”
Paige was arrested and charged. She was arraigned this morning.
