Cops Find Thousands of Pills, Dope, Cash; Arrest Two: Report

Concord Police: Raid leads to $70K in drugs, drug dealing charges against Jessica Lord, and conspiracy charges against Patrick Brooks.

CONCORD, NH — A three-month drug investigation led to two arrests yesterday in Boscawen after police issued a search warrant on Berle Drive, according to a report.

Jessica Lord, 34, of Manchester Street in Concord, was arrested on July 20, 2016, and charged with four counts of sale of controlled drugs and a possession of controlled drugs charge, all felonies. Also arrested was Patrick Brooks, 36, of Berle Drive in Boscawen, who was charged with two felony counts of conspiracy to sell a controlled drug.

Concord detectives, Boscawen Police, and members of the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Drug Task Force executed a search warrant a home in Boscawen at 9 a.m. yesterday, according to Lt. Timothy O’Malley, the commander of the criminal investigations unit for the Concord Police Department, which allegedly led to drugs, cash, and vehicles.

“During the execution of the search warrant at an address on Berle Drive in Boscawen, detectives seized approximately $20,000 cash, over 2,000 pills (primarily Oxycodone), one pound of marijuana, three automobiles, two motorcycles, and three ATVs,” O’Malley alleged. “The street value of the drugs seized is estimated to be over $70,000.”

Lord was arrested and released later on personal recognizance bail. She’s due in court on Aug. 22. Brooks was held on $5,000 cash bail and will be arraigned today.

O’Malley thanked all the officers and agencies, including Merrimack County Sheriffs, that were involved in the effort for their assistance in the case. He also noted that the cases against Lord and Brooks was "an open investigation" and more charges are expected.
