Countdown to NYE fun has begun - tickets now available!
Yearlong 250th celebration concludes with live music, dinner, pop-up history gallery, dancing, costumes, & final toast on 12/31
Concord’s sestercentennial year is nearly over, but the celebration of two and a half centuries of history continues right through New Year’s Eve. On December 31, Concord 250 and the Concord Family YMCA will present a gala event to officially mark the final moments of 2015. Last year’s gala sold out early, and excitement is building as community members prepare for a night to remember on December 31, 2015.
Cheers to the Next 250 Years! New Year’s Gala takes place in the Grand Ballroom at Grappone Conference Center from 7:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. Prizes will be awarded for best costumes from the eras of 1920s, 1950s, 1970s, 1980s, and Today/Future. Attendees are encouraged to don garb from their favorite era, whether dapper flapper, timeless 50s, swell 70s, awesome 80s, or even today’s black tie formal wear.
The Freese Brothers Big Band Combo will kick off the evening, with DJ Nazzy from WLNH keeping the dance floor hopping right into 2016. Attendees will also enjoy a delectable dinner and dessert bar, champagne toast, pop-up history gallery, and a complimentary photo keepsake from Concord Photo Service. Special room rates at the Courtyard Concord Marriott are available for $99 + tax.
