Crash Between Truck, Car Closes Concord’s Clinton Street: Watch
Two were taken to the hospital after a car and a dump truck collided at Silk Farm Road on Tuesday; traffic was diverted for 45 minutes.
CONCORD, NH — Two people were taken to Concord Hospital after a crash between a car and a dump truck on Tuesday.
Around 4:15 p.m., Capital Area Mutual Aid Fire Compact and Concord police dispatch began receiving calls about a crash in the middle of Clinton Street at Silk Farm Road. Witnesses said there were injuries and the crash was between a car and a dump truck.
A New Hampshire State Police trooper arrived first and confirmed the car's driver was injured. Multiple officers and fire and rescue teams arrived and closed down the road. A second ambulance was also requested.

The car was a 2017 Toyota Corolla and the truck was a Peterbilt owned by a construction firm in Newport. The truck was driven by a man in his early 20s. The Corolla was registered to a Laconia man without an active license. The license of a woman in her mid-40s was checked and connected to the car.
Firefighters also cleaned up a large oil spill from the truck.

Concord police requested either Bow or county police to divert traffic around the crash. Another Concord officer arrived instead.
Two patients were taken to Concord Hospital. A police officer also drove three passengers from the Corolla to the hospital to be with the driver.
The westbound lane was reopened to traffic around 5 p.m.
