Crash In Chichester Closes Route 4 Near Chucksters: Watch
A car and a school bus collided on Dover Road on Saturday — leading to multiple injuries.
CHICHESTER, NH — Numerous fire and rescue teams were sent to Chichester on Saturday for a two-vehicle crash with injuries.
Around 3:45 p.m., capital region dispatch began receiving calls about a crash between a car and a school bus. The crash was on Route 4 in the area of Chucksters near Bailey Road, just over the Concord line.
Firefighters and two ambulances were sent at first. About 10 minutes later, the fire commander told dispatch he needed more ambulances. Two dozen passengers on the bus were OK, he said, but another three or four people were going to need to be taken to the hospital.

Dispatch requested EMTs from Concord, Epsom, and Loudon to assist.
The commander also requested Concord Hospital be notified because the patients being taken there were “Status 3” injuries.
