Crash Clogs Traffic On East Side Drive In Concord: Watch
Concord police, fire and rescue teams were sent to East Side Drive and Burns Avenue for a crash Friday and then, two more accidents.
CONCORD, NH — Concord fire and rescue teams along with police were sent to an accident Friday on the Heights. Around 4:10 p.m., callers reported a two-vehicle crash, with injury, at Burns Avenue and East Side Drive. The accident was between a Volvo station wagon and a van.
The crash blocked traffic at one of the busiest times, when hundreds of state employees were getting out of work on Hazen Drive, and more officers were sent to intersection to direct traffic.
While police were at the scene, two more accidents were reported — on another section of East Side Drive and on Loudon Road near the Steeplegate Mall.
