Crash Knocks Out Power to 1,000 in Concord

UPDATE: Power is out in the west, north ends of Concord. Unitil is at the scene making repairs.

CONCORD, NH — A single vehicle crash caused a power outage in Concord at around 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 9, 2016. The vehicle - a Toyota RAV4 - struck a utility pole on North State Street near the cemetery. The crash caused about 1,060 customers to lose power. Unitil has been called to the scene, according to scanner chatter. Residents are slowing getting restored, according to notes on Facebook. The company noted on Twitter at around 3:20 p.m. that it had a team at the scene making repairs. Full restoration time is estimated to be around 4:45 p.m., according to the company's outage map.
