Crash On North Main Street Snarls Concord Traffic: Watch

Both northbound lanes and one southbound lane were closed to traffic at Pitman Street on Wednesday.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to North Main Street on Wednesday for a crash.

Around 4:15 p.m., police dispatch began receiving reports about a crash between an SUV and a pickup truck, with airbag deployment, that was blocking traffic at Pitman Street.

When the first officer arrived, they found a Ford F-250 and a Nissan Rogue blocking the roadway after colliding.

“I’m gonna need more units for traffic,” the officer said.

Firefighters and other officers guided traffic around the scene. Both northbound lanes and one southbound lane were closed to traffic. EMTs checked the drivers and said there were no injuries while firefighters worked to clear the debris from the street.

Two trucks were requested.
