Crash Shuts Down I-93
The highway was closed early this morning due to a single vehicle accident that may have flipped from one lane to the other.
CONCORD, NH - Concord Police and Fire and Rescue teams and New Hampshire State Police were sent to a crash on I-93 southbound just before Exit 13 at around 12:20 a.m. on Feb. 27, 2016, for a crash, according to the NH DOT.
The first alerts stated that just the right lane was closed but officials closed both lanes on the southbound side of the highway and diverted traffic at Exit 14, at around 12:40 a.m.
Brian Blackden reported that on scanner chatter, police believed that the vehicle may have been traveling on the northbound side of the highway and then, crashed into the guardrail and flipped over into the southbound lane.
