Crimeline Seeks Assistance with Food for Gift Card Case

Do you recognize this woman? Concord Police would like to hear from you, if you know her.

The Concord Regional Crimeline issued the following alert on Nov. 20, 2015:

On Saturday Oct. 24, 2015, at around 8:45 p.m., Concord Police responded to Hannaford on Fort Eddy Road for a report of a female shoplifter who had allegedly fled the store.

Employees reported that a customer allegedly took two packages of meat and four desserts and placed them into a blue reusable shopping bag. The woman reportedly then made a fraudulent return with the same merchandise, receiving a store gift card for approximately $34. The female allegedly then used the gift card to purchase a case of bottled water, according to an employee at the store.

The female in question was described as wearing a red shirt and black coat. She was last seen getting into a U-Haul van.

Police have recovered this photo of a person of interest related to this matter.
