Crimeline Seeks Tips After Liquor Store Vodka Theft

Breaking: Concord Police: Do you know the man in this surveillance screenshot?

CONCORD, NH — The Concord Regional Crimeline has issued an alert asking for the public’s help in solving a recent theft allegation at the New Hampshire State Liquor & Wine Outlet on Storrs Street. According to the alert, officers were sent to the store on the morning of Aug. 31, 2016, after an employee suspected suspicious behavior from a man at the store. According to the employee, the man was waiting outside of the store before it opened and then entered the store. The man then quickly left the store a short while later without making a purchase.

“This prompted her to review store video," according to Lt. Timothy O’Malley, the commander of the criminal investigations unit for the Concord Police Department. "Upon reviewing the video, the employee observed that the subject in question walked to the back of the store where he selected a 1.75L (1/2 gallon) bottle of Grey Goose Vodka (value $49.99). The subject placed the bottle into a back pack and then exited the store without paying for the alcohol. The subject got onto some type of bicycle and left the area.”

The man was described as white, wearing tan shorts, and a green T-shirt. He was around 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and weighed about 180 lbs. He has a tattoo that resembled a son on his calf. The backpack he was carrying was orange or red.
