Dan Scanlon Recipient of Thomas Lewry Leadership Award

The Manchester Community Music School (MCMS) is thrilled to announce that Mr. Dan Scanlon has been named the 2018 recipient of The Thomas Lewry Leadership Award.

Each year this award is presented to an individual who has made a significant impact on the Music School’s ability to serve the community. Mr. Scanlon served on the school’s Board of Directors for seven years, he continues to be actively involved at the committee level, and is a member of the MCMS Maestro Circle.

“Throughout his involvement at the Manchester Community Music School, Dan has played a key role in the growth and evolution of the school, always working tirelessly to promote our mission,” commented Judy Teehan, MCMS Executive Director. “We are so grateful for Dan’s amazing contributions to the Music School!”

Mr. Scanlon was presented with the award at the Music School’s annual “Share the Music” Gala on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.
