Dead Body Found Inside Vehicle At Concord Bus Depot

Concord police and NH State Police troopers are investigating a dead body found in the parking lot of the city's bus depot on Monday night.

CONCORD, NH — Police are investigating a body found inside a vehicle parked at the Concord Bus Depot on Monday night.

Just past 9:30 p.m., an officer on patrol on Stickney Avenue went off at the bus depot to check a vehicle with a vanity plate. After running the plate, dispatch asked the officer if they wanted another unit.

“You can start one,” they said.

Later, they added, “Start fire… I’ve got a person down, and I’m going to be breaking a window.”

The officer said they were having trouble getting access to the vehicle. After gaining access, the officer confirmed the person was unconscious and not breathing. More officers were also requested.

News 603 posted a video from the scene on Facebook.

Concord fire and rescue teams were sent to the bus depot, and they confirmed the unconscious person was dead at just before 9:45 p.m. They then cleared the scene.

Around 10:15 p.m., an officer reported three state police troopers had arrived at the scene. The officers offered to begin releasing other Concord cops from the scene if they were needed elsewhere.

A watch commander stated around 10:30 p.m. that police were communicating with state police about the case.
