Despite Showers, White Park Easter Egg Hunt A Success

Hundreds of Concord kids showed up to White Park to hunt for Easter eggs while gathering up candy and gift cards.

CONCORD, NH — Hundreds of children, from toddlers to fifth graders, ignored the pouring rain and hunted for gift certificates and candy at this year’s Easter Egg Hunt at White Park in Concord. Everyone appeared to have an egg-cellent time gathering up hundreds of plastic eggs in the southern part of the park despite the showers. The hunt was split into three sections – Pre-K, K-2, and third to fifth grade.

The Easter Bunny also showed up to say, "Hi."

The event was sponsored by Patsy’s Auto Body. Other local businesses – Canoli Stop, Krazy Kids, Constantly Pizza, Dos Amigos, Granite State Candy, Orange Leaf, and Sal’s Pizza – all donated gift certificates that were hidden inside some of the eggs.
