Dionne Joins Granite Restaurant As Executive Chef

Daniel Dionne will lead the Concord restaurant. He found inspiration at an early age working at his parent's restaurant in Salem.

CONCORD, NH — Hay Creek Hotels is pleased to welcome Chef Daniel Dionne as the new executive chef at Granite Restaurant & Bar, according to a press statement. Dionne found inspiration at an early age working at his parent's restaurant in Salem. Since then, his passion has continued to develop over the years as he worked with many talented local chefs. As for what's to come at Granite Restaurant, diners can expect to see a more streamlined menu with a twist of classic New England fare and French inspired cuisine.

"We are excited to have Chef Daniel join our team at Granite," said George Soderberg of Hay Creek Hotels who owns and operates the Centennial Hotel and Granite Restaurant & Bar. "His years of experience and innovative technique will continue to bring great flavor to the restaurant, which has always been known for serving fresh food sourced locally."

In addition to his responsibilities at Granite Restaurant & Bar and The Centennial Hotel, Chef Dionne is also bringing his culinary talent to off-site events offered by the hotel for groups up to 300 people. "For me, a meal is all about the entire experience," said Dionne. "Sharing great food among friends and loved ones can enhance any occasion. That's why I find it so important to base my meals around fresh and local ingredients. Local seafood, fresh and seasonal vegetables, these are the ingredients I know will give me a solid base to experiment with to create new and delicious dishes."

A native of New Hampshire, Daniel has followed his passion for cooking throughout New England where he has held culinary positions at a variety of restaurants, country clubs and hotels. Prior to joining The Centennial team, Chef Dionne was Sous Chef at the Bedford Village Inn where he fine tuned his abilities and executive quality cuisine with multiple cooking styles.
