Hooksett Police Investigating Double-Fatal Crash Near Allenstown; Passenger Survives

Two drivers died after a collision between a Nissan Rogue and a Hyundai Kona on Hooksett Road early Tuesday morning.

HOOKSETT, NH — Police in Hooksett are investigating a double-fatal crash between a crossover and an SUV near the Allenstown town line on Tuesday morning.

Just after 5:30 a.m., police and fire and rescue teams were sent to a report of a crash between a Nissan Rogue and a Hyundai Kona. Both drivers, as well as a passenger in the Kona, sustained serious injuries and were taken to the hospital. Both drivers died later due to the injuries, Hooksett Lt. Valerie Lamy said. The passenger remains hospitalized.

“The Hooksett Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene and determined that the Nissan was traveling south when the operator crossed the center line, striking the Hyundai, which was traveling north,” Lamy said.

Information about the drivers will be released later after next of kin notification, she said.
