Downtown Concord Snow Removal Parking Ban Issued For Monday Night

CONCORD, NH — Concord has issued a “winter maintenance parking ban” for downtown on Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Between 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 10, and 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11, no on-street parking will be allowed on the designated streets on the accompanying map so the general services department can clear the streets and sidewalks downtown of snow.

Free parking is available at three city garages from 7 p.m. on Monday to 8 a.m. on permit-lease spaces and metered spaces until 9 a.m. on Tuesday. Garages are located on School Street (the Durgin Block Garage), North State Street (the Firehouse Block Garage), and Storrs Street (formerly known as the Capital Commons Garage).

Concord police will begin ticketing vehicles and towing them just after midnight. Residents who do not remove their vehicles will also be responsible for the tow fee.
