Driver Crashes Into Parked Car, Stone Wall On North State Street In Concord: Video

CONCORD, NH — A driver sustained a minor laceration during a crash Thursday morning in Concord.

Just before noon, a parole officer radioed Concord police dispatch about a crash on North State Street. The parole officer reported a three-vehicle crash across from Blossom Hill Cemetery, on the east side of the street.

“We’re here, assessing,” they said.

Police dispatch said they had not yet received the crash information, but they began sending officers to the crash.

Concord fire and rescue teams were also sent to the scene.

A few minutes later, a witness called Concord police and reported a single-vehicle crash into a stone wall, and the driver was injured.

News 603 posted a video on Facebook.

When first responders arrived, they confirmed the crash: a sedan with front-end damage and debris in the street and on the sidewalk outside 210 and 214 N. State St.

Officers moved vehicles around the crash scene while firefighters swept up debris. One officer confirmed the driver had minor injuries to their wrist. They refused transportation by EMTs.

Officers spoke to several witnesses and learned the driver of the car reportedly struck a parked vehicle and then drove into a stone wall.

Officers requested a tow truck for the sedan, a Nissan.
