Driver Fatally Injured in I-93 Offramp Crash

Fire and rescue teams, state troopers called to single-vehicle crash this afternoon.

Concord Fire and Rescue teams and New Hampshire State Police were called to a single-vehicle crash on the Exit 16 offramp on the northbound side of I-93 in Concord earlier this afternoon.

The crash was reported at around 2:30 p.m. on April 23, 2015, as an accident in the woods along the offramp with the driver trapped in the vehicle.

Firefighters used the jaws of life to gain access to the vehicle and quickly learned that the driver had sustained fatal injuries due to the crash. At post time, just after 3 p.m., the offramp was still closed.
