Driver Taken To Concord Hospital After Canterbury Road Rollover: Watch
The driver of a Subaru XV crashed into a utility pole between Pembroke Road and Loudon Road and flipped the car on Sunday.
CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to a single-vehicle rollover on Canterbury Road on Sunday.
Just before 3:45 p.m., police dispatch began receiving calls about a rollover in the citywide community center and Dudley Road area. The driver was possibly entrapped, according to callers. Fire dispatch also received reports about the crash.
Police confirmed there was a utility pole that was snapped into pieces during the crash, and the driver, who was in a Subaru, was talking to them. Canterbury Road was shut down at Pembroke Road. A fire dispatcher also called Unitil to come and repair the pole.

Firefighters told dispatch the driver, who was in her early 50s, was not entrapped in the car, but it would take some time to get her out of the car. A few minutes later, she was extricated from the vehicle, and EMTs began treating her. Firefighters also requested the utility unit come to the scene due to the live wires.
The driver was taken to Concord Hospital by ambulance later.
