Driver Taken To Concord Hospital After Crash Closes Loudon Road For About 45 Minutes: Video
After one crash Thursday night at the entrance of the Olive Garden, a second crash was reported at the entrance to Walmart.
CONCORD, NH — Concord police and firefighters were kept busy on Thursday night with two crashes on Loudon Road.
An officer patrolling Loudon Road just after 6:30 p.m. came upon a crash at the entrance to Olive Garden. The officer immediately requested backup and fire and rescue teams due to one driver having a cut to their face, according to scanner chatter. The crash was between a Honda Civic and a Volkswagen Jetta and both vehicles had airbag deployment.
The westbound lane of the road was also shut down.

Two witnesses were interviewed by the police.

Two expedited tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles.
One driver was taken from the crash scene to Concord Hospital.
The road was reopened to traffic around 7:15 p.m.
A few minutes after reopening the road after the first crash, a second crash was reported at the entrance of Walmart.
That accident, too, was reported by an officer driving by the scene. Only one of the vehicles had an airbag deployment, according to scanner chatter. An officer from the previous crash also headed to the area to assist with traffic. Fire and rescue teams were requested due to an injury to a passenger in one of the vehicles.
The crash was between a BMW sedan and a Chevrolet pickup truck.
One witness was questioned.
Another set of wreckers was requested for the scene.
