Driving Charges Filed in Little Pond Road Accident

NH State Police charge Mary Hensley of Concord with DWI, operating after suspension.

A Concord woman faces at least two driving charges in connection with a two-car crash that closed down Little Pond Road for more than three hours on June 3.

Mary Hensley, 33, of Concord, has been charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and operating after a suspension.

Lt. Nicole Armaganian, a spokeswoman for the New Hampshire State Police, said there may be other charges pending but it was unknown at post time.

Hensley was allegedly driving wildly on Auburn Street and Little Pond Road in a Mercury Sable, according to a number witnesses, before smashing into a Volkswagen Passat at a curve in West Concord. The Passat was being driven by a woman and had children as passengers in the car, coming back from an afternoon a Copoco, a pool and tennis facility near Fisk Road, according to witnesses.

Hensley, a male passenger in her car, and a boy in the Passat, were all transported to the hospital.

Hensley has been arrested a number of times, including a prostitution charge and a bench warrant, both in 2012.
