They made off with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes. The clerk was not injured, according to police. Both men are believed to be white, in the mid-20s, and around 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with heavy builds.

“That suspect wore the hood of his sweatshirt up and had a bandana over his lower face,” said Lt. Sean Ford, the commander of the criminal investigations unit for the Concord Police Department, "that was held in place with what appeared to be silver duct tape that extended completely around his head.”

The armed robber also had a black backpack that he used to hold the cash and ciggies. A white number – 5 – appeared on the back, along with other writing and an unknown symbol on the front.

The second man was wearing a dark shirt with light pants, gray sneakers, and a dark baseball cap. He appeared to have a T-shirt over the lower portion of his face – which was also held in place by duct tape – and extended completely around his head.

This is at least the third time Shell gas stations have been hit by robbers this year.

Kaili Pierce robbed this gas station back in March. Her life – as well as cohort Stephen Reinholz – later ended in a crash on a Maryland highway a few days later, while they attempting to evade law enforcement. A few months later, in June, Jacob Bouchard reportedly robbed a station – along with other businesses – during an early summer crime spree.
