CONCORD, NH — Concord fire and rescue teams were sent to a dumpster fire on Loudon Road on Friday.

Capital region dispatch began receiving calls about the fire around 7:30 p.m. Dispatch said a witness reported two dumpsters near the store were burning. Later, dispatch said the dumpsters were up against the side of the building. Before firefighters arrived, a commander told them where the closest fire hydrants were located.

The first arriving firefighters confirmed two dumpsters were burning, but the fire was “relatively small.” The firefighter suggested some firefighters go back into service since it was such a small fire. EMTs were also put back in service.
